The IART Course prepares the diver for the use of Nitrox on no-stop dives to depths appropriate for the Nitrox mix used.
The IART Advanced Trimix Course prepares the diver for the use of Trimix or Heliox for decompression dives to a maximum depth of 90m.
What do I need to start?
- Must be a minimum certification level of IART Extended Range Diver or Equivalent.
- Must provide proof of 30 dives beyond Extended Range Diver Course, with no less than 20 dives shallower than 40m.
- Must provide proof of current diving medical.
- Minimum of 18 years old.
What will I do?
The Advanced Trimix diver will undertake theory lessons in the use and planning of dives utilising Trimix and Heliox mixes, Equipment and physiological hazards and execution. They will also undertake practical training in dive planning and diving techniques over at least 6 open water dives with a minimum of 360 minutes of dive time.
