The IART CCR Level III Diver Course prepares the diver for the use of Trimix or Heliox for decompression dives to a maximum depth of 90m, using the Closed Circuit Rebreather (various models of CCR available).
What do I need to start?
- Must be a minimum certification level of IART CCR Level II Diver or Equivalent.
- Must provide proof of 50 hours beyond Extended Range Diver Course, with no less than 20 hours shallower than 35m.
- Must provide proof of current diving medical.
- Minimum of 18 years old.
What will I do?
The CCR Level III diver will undertake theory lessons in the use and planning of dives utilising Trimix and Heliox mixes, Equipment and physiological hazards and execution. They will also undertake practical training in dive planning and diving techniques over at least 6 open water dives with a minimum of 360 minutes of dive time.
What do I need?
IART CCR Level III Manual and dive equipment suitable for the dives undertaken as stipulated by IART. The diver must own or have unlimited access to the specific CCR for the course undertaken.
